Cosm\u00e9ticos Trujillo S.A. de C.V. joined Grupo Hada in January 2016, following its acquisition from the Spanish company Puig S.A. This merger is part of Grupo Hada's strategic expansion plan, consolidating its leadership in the region as a leading manufacturer of hygiene, personal care, and household products. With more than 60 years of experience in the industry, the group strengthens its market presence, guaranteeing quality, innovation, and a triple-impact approach.<\/span><\/p>

The relationship between Puig S.A. and Grupo Hada dates back to the 1970s, based on a shared vision of growth, continuous improvement, and sustainability. Foundation and Early Years<\/strong><\/p>

Grupo Hada<\/strong>, originally known as Jaboner\u00edas Hada<\/strong>, was founded in 1956 in Manizales, Colombia, by Don Mauricio Trujillo Correa<\/strong> and wife Gloria Posada de Trujillo<\/strong>Mauricio, who grew up surrounded by the family soap-making business in Cali, \"Jab\u00f3n Trujillo,\" decided to continue the family tradition, motivated by his entrepreneurial passion and desire to innovate in the industry. Initially, the company was dedicated to the artisanal production of laundry soaps, serving the regional market with high-quality products. Despite facing significant challenges, including a devastating fire in its first year of operation, the Trujillos did not give up and continued with determination and a strong ethical commitment.<\/p>

Expansion and Modernization<\/strong><\/p>

In 1962, Jaboner\u00edas Hada became a corporation, allowing it to access fresh resources for the importation of modern European machinery. This step marked the beginning of a new growth phase for the company, which began modernizing its plant and introducing innovations in the soap-making process. In 1965, they diversified their product line with the launch of the Cristalino cosmetic soap, which solidified their position in the national market.<\/p>

During the 1970s, Hada expanded its operations nationwide, managing to distribute its products to nearly the entire country. Simultaneously, they began developing techniques for producing personal care soaps, a significant achievement that allowed them to manufacture for renowned international brands.
